Kumar has over 20 years of municipal engineering and management experience. In his prior role, he served as the City Engineer for the City of League City. He also served s as the Senior Engineer, Program Manager, and Drainage Engineer for the City of Sugar Land. He also has consulting engineering experience having worked for major consulting firms in the Houston metropolitan area for about 10 years.

At the recent Offshore Technology Conference (OTC 2016), the R-550D received the prestigious Hart’s Meritorious Engineering Award. Additionally, Ramesh Maini was selected to be one of only eight Fellows in 2016 of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME).

Showri Nandagiri, current Advisory Council Member and former Vice President of ASIE has been selected by American Water Works Association (AWWA) to work with India, since they established their first International Community called AWWAINDIA. 

Sanjay Ram, the former President of ASIE and current President of IACC – Indo American Chamber of Commerce is appointed as a METRO board member by Mayor of City of Houston.

Raj Basavaraju has 14 years of Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning experience on various projects in the mid-Atlantic, North Carolina and Texas. He is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at HNTB. He is actively engaged in client services while working on Transportation projects in the Greater Houston area. Raj is a Life Member of ASIE and served as the Membership Chair for ASIE in 2013 and Treasurer in 2014. He is also the Membership Chair for Transportation Advocacy Group and the Technical Committee Co-Chair for Houston Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

Dinesh Shah is a Principal of Shah Companies and Business Diversified Corporation. Both firms are engaged together in Architectural & Engineering Design, Design-Build Commercial Real Estate development, Property Tax Protest Consulting, Technical and RAS inspection, and Property Management. Dinesh is a Life member of ASIE. He is a current ASIE Board Member and has served as ASIE Board of Advisors for two years including as a Chairman for a year. He is also the Chair for the IT Committee and PR Committee.
